Insurance And Financing

Greenway Dental Center for Esthetic and Implant Dentistry is dedicated to the health and beauty of your smile. To ensure that our treatment options are accessible to all patients, we accept various insurance plans and have financing options for patients who do not have insurance.

For our patients who have dental insurance, figuring out your benefits can be complicated and confusing, but we are here to assist you every step of the way.

Here is some information you may find helpful:

Dental insurance companies, such as Aetna, Cigna, Delta, Humana, MetLife, etc., sell a multitude of dental insurance plans and it is the plan, that you or your employer purchase, which determines what dental benefits you receive.

Traditional or Indemnity Dental Plan:

  • There is no network.
  • You are allowed to go to any dentist.
  • You will have the same coverage with any office you choose.

PPO Dental Plan:

  • There is a network of participating dentists.
  • Dentists within the network have contracted with the insurance company to charge patients, with that insurance plan, a specific fee for each service rendered.  These fees are usually based on the average fees for the area - “usual and customary".
  • You are allowed to go to a dentist in or out of the network.
  • You will have coverage with our office.
  • Depending on your plan, you may have less coverage at our office than if you go to an in-network office.

DPO, DMO, or DHMO Dental Plan:

  • You will have an assigned dentist within the network.
  • You would not have coverage with our office.
  • To have coverage, you would be required to see your assigned dentist.

Dental Insurance and Greenway Dental Center:

  • We accept all Traditional, Indemnity, and PPO dental plans.
  • We will file your dental claims for you and take care of all paperwork.
  • If your dental plan allows you to assign benefits to our office, we will accept payment from them and only collect the estimated patient portion at the time of service.
  • Although our office is not in-network for any dental insurance plans, our fees are well within the “usual and customary” for our area and the “allowable” for most dental insurance plans.
  • You will find that the majority of dentists, who are “in-network” for dental insurance, are part of a corporately owned chain or clinic-style practice.
  • At our office, you will have a dedicated dental team, who truly care about their patients.  We are exceptionally good at what we do and take great pride in providing excellent dentistry and amazing care.
